Hey Actifitters,
The weather was kind of grey yesterday but it cleared up a little in the afternoon and that's when we were in the yard. Funny how we still have a little snow there.
But just behind the front yard, it looks quite different, you can almost see the line where the snow stops.
When we went there, Le Chat found her own shortcut to join us. Clever Le Chat, if she can save even a tiny amount of energy, she will!
We didn't stay there too long though.
We quickly walked to the bigger forest instead.
I noticed a bunch of deer near the entrance, but they were far enough that Kaia didn't catch their scent. So it gave me more time for photos.
Then we followed the ice river.
Even though it was already behind the trees, the sun showed up a little when we reached the clearing.
So strange how different it is on the other side of the forest, it's melting but a lot more snow left.
It's a very limited area though, most of the forest look like this, with very little snow and a bit of ice.
On the way out, we saw the deer again. But this time Kaia caught their scents and chased them, I barely had time to snap just one photo before it was chaos.
And that was it for the day's activities. Unfortunately I missed the bar for #poprzeczka competition. I wasn't that far, about 3k steps short. I believe I'm not done yet for December though, still a couple chances to stay in the game.
