Hey Actifitters,
After the beautiful snowy surprise the day before, Sunday was very sunny.
Even if we were short on time, we made sure to spend as much as possible of it outside.
There wasn't enough time for the bigger forest but the small one behind the front yard is a perfect fallback.
And Kaia always has lots of fun there.
We went around the small forest a few times, waving through the trees, as there's no actual trails.
We quickly added a little distance in the neighborhood. In spite of the temperature being a couple degrees below freezing, the snow was still melting very fast in the sun.
While coming back, we still had a few minutes to spare, so we went back into the small forest, we really wanted to optimize the outdoor time!
It's unusual for us but we had tickets for the opera in the afternoon. We prefer the evening/night shows, but this was the only choice for this one. And we didn't want to miss it: The Handmaid's Tale at the Detroit Opera House. It's so relevant right now with fake christians trying to impose their rules on everybody in the US. The show itself was pretty good. An opera in English is kind of different, but that worked well actually.
After the show and a couple drinks, it was already after sundown and the rest of the day was mostly lazy. It's the new season for #poprzeczka anyways, so I didn't need many steps.
