Hey Actifitters,
I had planned to try going for a run yesterday to help reach the #poprzeczka bar. I ran out of time for a run, but it turns out I didn't need it, a long walk was sufficient. Even though I had no idea where Le Chat was, we started behind the front yard.
It had been a few days since Kaia didn't have one of her great jumping session. It was a good day for it.
A squirrel was yelling at us, well at Kaia, shaking its tail very aggressively (which made it difficult to focus photos).
So we headed to the bigger forest.
I knew the colors would be nice around that time in the afternoon.
Kaia made sure to check new spots, chase several deer, and climb on every tree stump she could.
We of course went all the way to the teepees. When we have enough time, it's a must.
It was a bit cloudy, but the early sunset at our favorite spot was pretty cool.
And we took the same usual route to cut through the forest one last time on the way back home.
But the sky cleared up a bit, leaving just enough clouds and mist for a great sunset. We caught all the streets looking West. In the past, we probably would have followed one of them all the way to the golf course, but it was already a lot of miles and Kaia's joints aren't what they used to be. It was enough for her.
Just a few houses from home, we also met more deer. They were having dinner in a front yard. I know people don't like when deer eat their plants and shrubs in the yard, but I think it's cute.
Like I said, my final step count was easily above the bar for #poprzeczka March session. I'm safe a couple more days but it's quite busy these last few days, not sure I'll be able to do much better.
