Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was again mostly grey and kind of rainy, so Le Chat was waiting for her chance to go bother Kaia in the yard, with one of her infamous look of course.
When it seemed quite safe from the rain, we started our daily walk behind the front yard as usual.
It's funny how, while exploring, Kaia and Le Chat often reacts to the same noises. In this case, it was a squirrel nearby, and Le Chat said: 'I'll handle it...', which means she just acted tough and looked at it climb in a tree...
Before we arrived in the bigger forest, signs of the rain overnight and earlier during the day were obvious.
But like previously, trails in the forest weren't bad at all, a bit muddy at worst.
It was a typical route inside the forest, but when it was around the time we left, Kaia almost left me lost in the darkness.
She was chasing deer of course. But she came back before I was anywhere close to the forest exit, she knows it's her job to lead the way out and back home. Or maybe she just couldn't catch any deer and gave up...
And that was it for the day's activities, another sub-20k steps day, but it's not bad. It's still a transition before I resume running, hopefully soon.
