Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started a bit too fast! As usual, since I went to bed way too late, I set up my alarm a little later. When it went off, I realized I had a meeting starting. It happens regularly but it's never easy to connect to a meeting right out of bed... That would have been fine but a few minutes later I got a text from the HVAC contractor that was supposed to show up more than 4 hours later, saying he was already on his way! So while still connected to that meeting, I had to clean up the house or at least the area near the HVAC system. And all that for nothing by the way, because after he started working on the system, he quickly realized it was too cold outside to start up the A/C which was his main task for the day...
Anyways, after that sudden and busy start, the day kinda went back to the usual routine, except I took several long phone calls with people back home. Lots of pacing, and therefore steps but all of this did push our daily walk to even later than usual. It was already getting dark out.

As often these days, Le Chat met us just outside the small forest but she was there mostly for the grass, apparently her favorite snack.

Like I said, it was already kinda late, so we quickly headed to the bigger forest, where Kaia disappeared in a blur right away.

Later on, I asked her to pose for a photo as often. But this wasn't an easy one, this old tree trunk section wasn't stable at all and she had to use all her strength to balance it. She's a good soldier!

And it was fully dark when she led us out after a few loops on the trails.

Well, final step count was quite good. I'm pretty sure not all steps are created equal, and the ones from pacing during calls are most likely not as beneficial as an intentional walk outside but it's gotta count for something, right? I'll try and get back to stronger activities before the weekend.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
