Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a pretty busy day besides work that was also busy. First in the morning, I needed to get my summer wheels mounted. Not only does warm temperatures damage winter tires, but also there is something going on with them. Not sure what and I don't want to look into it now. It's just easier to swap out the wheels and check what's wrong with them later. When I left home, Le Chat was once again sleeping on the dog bed out on the deck.
Unfortunately, at the garage, they didn't want to mount the summer wheels because the tires are older than 10 years. They're in good shape because I don't drive much and their manufacturing date was already kind of old when I bought them. I know it's not recommended but I'll try and mount them myself since nobody will want to do it for legal reasons. The winter wheels will have to stay a little bit longer though. When I came back home, Le Chat was all disappointed too, and barely a few inches from where she was when I left!
In the afternoon, we managed to take several breaks to enjoy the sun outside.
Kaia and Le Chat enjoy these breaks in the yard, always fun!
Of course, we also went towards the small forest behind the front yard.
Again, Kaia really wanted to go in the forest, but it's just about a week since she started the anti inflammatory and she still needs to rest. Definitely tempting...
No such worries for Le Chat, she rarely uses energy that she doesn't really need to use.
To close the day, I had to pick up some friends at the airport. That's also why I wanted my summer wheels, but it's okay, it's not that far. We hung out a little bit longer in the yard after the airport trip and that was it for the day's activities. Step count is very low but that's because like I mentioned already, with the latest Actifit version, you need to walk 20k steps in order to get about 10k recorded! Not easy!
