Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started like most work day. We did spend some time in the yard, admiring Le Chat's various faces.

And of course we went for our daily walk to the small forest. A little earlier than usual though.

It was a short walk, but enough for Kaia to explore and have fun.

And just as usual, we added another short loop in the neighborhood. Beautiful blue sky with cool clouds.

But the event of the day was the Jack Johnson show at Pine Knob, first outdoor show of the season, and also in a long time as we missed them all last summer.

As you might remember, this is quite different from the usual concerts I go to, as my favorite genre is metal. But the easy-going and relaxed vibe was great for a Friday evening after another busy week. A hot dog, fries and beers, and cool music in a great outdoor venue, what more do we need?

And bonus, the sunset colors in the background were also fiery!

Unlike me, my friend is really a fan of Jack Johnson, and she enjoyed the concert even more than I did.

Because traffic was absolutely terrible, we missed the entire opening band set and even the first song for Jack Johnson, but of course we stayed until the very end. They played for about 2 hours with some variety when he invited for instance the opening band Hermanos Gutiérrez to play a few songs with them, or when he played a few requests by himself.

Well, a very good show overall. Like I mentioned, this is probably not what I would listen to usually, but it was very cool to see live. And another bonus, we managed to get out of the parking lot and on the highway quite quickly. That left us some time for a couple more drinks afterwards. Great night!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
