Hey Actifitters,
The smoke from the wildfires is slowly clearing up in the Metro Detroit area, but yesterday was still quite hazy and outdoor activities were not recommended. Of course, Le Chat doesn't care, she does whatever she wants! And doing nothing on the back deck was what she wanted...
We did stay mostly indoor but didn't want to completely skip our daily walk. So in the afternoon, we started a short walk to the small forest as usual.
Kaia chased a few critters but mostly just explored and found new scents.
On the way back, Le Chat joined us for the last part in the front yard.
But we weren't exactly done yet, like most days we added a little distance in the neighborhood. Look at that haze in the distance, we're clearly not over this yet.
I think this rabbit has been hanging out in the same area for a few days, pretty sure I already saw it recently. We could go pretty close but it finally fled when Kaia become a bit too vocal.
We finished with a trip to the grocery store. It was so needed, with literally nothing left in the fridge, and the shelves in the pantry looking so much emptier than usual. That brought a few more steps at the end of the day and that was pretty much the end of it.
