Hey Actifitters,
Still air quality alerts yesterday, getting better but very slowly... The forecast looks good for the next few days though. Apparently, some rain storms will 'clean the air'. In the meantime, we kept the same routine with several short breaks in the yard. We found Le Chat very worried about something above. Couldn't figure out if it was birds in the trees, or simply airplanes (she's always scared of them!), but she stared for quite some time.

Proof that even if the air quality isn't good yet, it is better: no smoke smell when we went for our daily walk to the small forest.

Unlike Le Chat, Kaia isn't scared of planes, but she was also very focused, on critters she was hoping to chase of course.

It was already getting quite dark in the forest, but we walked a few loops, randomly among the trees.

On the way back, as it is often the case, we found Le Chat waiting for us. But it's really not easy to get clear photos of moving animals in darkness. You often end up with robot eyes, that is if they don't turn their backs.

Or even worse if they hear something moving. Le Chat did surprise me on this one, running towards the unknown noise. For a cat so scared of cars, planes and many other things, she actually runs towards the danger when she hears something moving in the tall grass.

Of course, we finished with another loop in the neighborhood. Night mode performed pretty well to catch the last faint colors in the sky and if you look closely on the left the Moon.

If you thought snapping photos of Kaia and Le Chat in the dark was tough, try a deer from far in total darkness! Among many garbage blurry photos, I actually found a couple I liked.

And that was it for the day's activities. Let's see if the forecast is right for Tuesday: cleaner and cooler air, that would be great to ramp up the activity again.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you.
