Hey Actifitters,
Our daily walk yesterday started as usual near the small forest behind the front yard.

I changed my mind at least a dozen times about where to go: the bigger forest or stay in the small forest and keep just enough time for a short run. Eventually I decided to try a run as the conditions were perfect. So we entered the small forest.

I'm sure Kaia would have liked to go again to the bigger forest but we need to manage her pain in her leg, until we can get her the surgery she needs.

Even on our way back, it was nice to see the sun through the trees. Between the hear wave and the bad air quality, we spent way too much time indoors recently.

And even if we missed most of the sunset behind the trees, we found beautiful clouds and colors.

Then I went for my run during twilight hour. It was surprisingly not bad at all, over 6km at 5:22min/km. Considering it was my first run in a couple weeks at least (same reasons mentioned above, too hot, then stomach pain, and finally smoke and bad air quality), I felt surprisingly well, and could have kept that same much longer, if it wasn't for the darkness outside. Let's see if I can repeat same or better performance next time.
Now you might wonder what happened to Le Chat. Well she only showed up for food later, and asked to go our right after. Some days, that's the only time we see her.

As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
