My party had won the permit for the Wave - a place between Arizona and Utah where only 64 people are allowed per day.
The place is beautiful beyond description. But my first feeling was that of gratitude. I know Americans who have tried many times to win the permit in a lottery and failed. Yet, I and my party, from distant Poland, got the winning ticket and permit.
