The weather decided to give us back what it had taken away in Canyonlands and we had a perfect hiking day in Arches National Park. Warm but not hot, sunny and just with the right wind.
To beat the crowds, we started with a view of the famed Delicate Arch. From our vista point we literally saw a line of people queuing for a photo under the arch. Poor people. We took a photo from afar, but good enough and then drove to furthest corner of the park. We hiked the Devil’s Garden and had many arches almost for ourselves.
The grand finale of the day was an off-road drive and lone trekking to Tower Arch - a place where only a few dare to reach.
