RE: 35k steps on a working day. My Actifit Report Card: June 4 2025

in Actifit6 months ago (edited)

I posted 'yesterday' on the 4th in the morning, the report was for the 3rd June (~7k steps). Today's post was also 'yesterday' (posted on the 5th June, morning) for 4th June (+35k steps)

@pjansen will you have a look why my two reports came out with the same date (4th June)?

Sort:

Of course, I understood that. But when I use the 'yesterday' option (which I always do), the app always changes the date at the end of my report. In your case, it shows the same for both, I don't know how that is possible. That will probably confuse the beautiful new script that @poprzeczka runs to automatically get step counts (for sure it does mine:

merthin walked 7927 steps on June 04, 2025
merthin walked 35531 steps on June 04, 2025

)
I'm guessing it's correct in your history, but something wrong happened while posting the first report:

Similarly, @ browery's reports are consistently off by one day. @pjansen should take a look at this, because strange things are happening with the report dates.

if this a system error, the current @macfit season may need a review

Based on these two examples, and the similarities I see, it could be due to the combo iOS, with external tracking (either Fitbit or healthapp, but not device tracking) and 'yesterday' option. But maybe something entirely different, difficult to find out with just these 2 samples that I've seen so far.

I typically post on day of my activity, just before going to bed. But the 3th and 4th were posted as 'yesterday', the morning after.

the inserted date is beyond my control, but I will keep an eye on it in the days to follow.
