I really like big mature trees, not only do they look cool but they can provide some nice shade on a hot summer day.
But they can also be a lot of work, The one in our neighbourhood place behind us drops so many leafs and branches it's not funny. The automatic pool cleaner does a pretty good job except when the wind blows from the West and I need to help it so it does not get clogged up.
The gutter and down pipes on the shed are another story. I have tried many different products over the years. I was finally pretty happy with my set up, but after getting up there for a quick brush of and clean. I think I will have to remove all the gutter guards and give it a good clean properly.
On the positive side, I get a nice load of mulch for the front yard, and all the work helps build a decent activity count.
