My Actifit Report Card: April 30 2025

This little butterfly or moth seems nice enough but they lay eggs in my cyclad plants then when they hatch they eat all the new soft growth.

I am sure I could control them somehow, but there just not enough time in the day. Maybe when I have finished painting the guttering, I will have a look into what the options might be.

Other than painting, I did a bit of handbag repairs. All the shoulder straps were starting to wear through. Nothing that punching a couple of holes and a few cables should hold it together for a bit longer.

You might try soapy water on the eggs and after they hatch as well. It works on aphids to suffocate them. Not sure if it would work, but it's cheap to do and easy as well. Take 1 part liquid dish detergent to 2 parts water in a spray bottle.

You can always tell what a guy's main proffession is by what he uses to fix basic stuff... The amount of cable ties I have seen electricians use for repairs tells me that this is generally true! 🤣🤣🤣
