My Actifit Report Card: August 26 2025

in Actifit2 days ago

Car service day. I have been doing the basic stuff myself for a while now. I get scared that if I take it into somebody else, it ends up over $600 aud, and they usually find extra stuff that needs doing. From memory, the oil pictured was $65, and the 2012 toyota prado service kit was $83 online

A few of the bits are hard to get at.

but with the right tools I have been getting it done a lot faster.

I unbolt the fuel filter and swap it over in the vice in my shed. Thanks, YouTube!

the main air filter is probaby the easiest, just 4 clips.

The cabin filter needs the glove box to come out.

Last off is the dual fuel tank filter. It is awkward to get at as well without jacking the car up, but it is just a matter of getting my roller trolley in exactly the right spot.

You have such amazing diy skills. True that it would be more expensive if taken to a car repair shop. I do wish I have more diy skills too. 😆 Thank you for sharing your story. Have a wonderful week ahead!
