We came across some locals on a short walk to Moon Bay about half an hour north of Merimbula.
I would call this one a Bennett's wallaby, but it might have a different name in this area.
As soon as we got onto the beach, a few big sea hawks took off. These could be their tracks. They were feeding on something they had caught.
A very nice secluded spot, and we had the place to our self.
