Today I decided to take things slow and enjoy the simple pleasures of being aliveandthriving here in the Ozarks.
My first stop was a special place for me and @madame-cyntaia.
This is a seasonal creek, but the deep hole you can see in the photograph stays full or close to it year round. The small fish that gather here get hungry so we drop by from time to time to make sure they get a good meal.
Our baby’s sure were hungry today! After making sure everyone was well fed I headed down to the lake hoping to find some fresh water clam shells, but that wasn’t possible because my parking lot was underwater!! There has definitely been plenty of rain so far this year.
While I was headed back home these deer came out to graze and say hello.
Farther up the road there is a nice pond that has a bench in the sun and I fed some of the fish there as well.
Final as I was getting ready to leave this amazing dragonfly landed right in front of me and let me take its picture. I was intrigued by its color pattern, it is not one I see often.
And that my actifriends was the cherry on top of another amazing day in Ozarklife. Thanks for stopping in sports fans.
