Today didn’t start too bad, but it quickly turned into a full-blown emotional triathlon. Working in preschool always comes with surprises, but today? It felt like a ride without brakes — and I wasn’t even wearing a helmet.

It all began with paperwork – I had to pick up documents for my son Oskar. Then straight to work: kids, chaos, spilled water, toys everywhere. Honestly, I felt like someone threw me into a washing machine on spin cycle and forgot to take me out.

But once I finally left work, I chose movement as my antidote.

🚶‍♀️ I logged 13,124 steps just “by accident” — running around the classroom, the hallway, the playground, meeting parents, and tackling a million tiny tasks. Honestly, it counts as cardio!

🚴‍♀️ 10 km on my bike was my personal reward and brain detox — cycling to our garden, then a few extra laps just to clear my head. Wind in my face, sun on my back, and that glorious freedom that comes when your legs are working and your brain finally quiets down.

🌡️ It was hot — 30°C! But in that heat, with sweat on my neck and tension melting off my shoulders, I felt alive. After a day like this, you really need to move, or you just might explode.

This post is my way of closing the day, breathing deeper, and saying:
“It was tough, but I made it. I did what I had to do. And I didn’t forget about myself.”

Dzisiejszy dzień nie zaczął się źle, ale szybko zamienił się w... pełnoetatowy emocjonalny triathlon. Praca w przedszkolu potrafi zaskoczyć, ale dziś to była jazda bez trzymanki – i to dosłownie.

Zaczęło się od papierologii – wizyta w szkole po dokumenty Oskara. Potem praca: dzieci, chaos, porozlewana woda, zabawki wszędzie. Uff. Serio, czułam się, jakby ktoś mnie wrzucił do pralki na wirowanie i zapomniał wyjąć.

Ale kiedy wreszcie wyszłam z pracy, postawiłam na ruch jako odtrutkę.

🚶‍♀️ 13 124 kroki nabiłam już „przy okazji” – bieganie po sali, szatni, podwórku, rozmowy z rodzicami i tysiąc drobnych zadań. Tego się nie da nie liczyć jako cardio! 😅

🚴‍♀️ 10 km na rowerze to była moja nagroda i detoks dla głowy – jazda na działkę po pracy, potem jeszcze kilka kółek dla oczyszczenia myśli. Wiatr w twarz, słońce na plecach i ta wolność, która przychodzi tylko wtedy, gdy nogi pracują, a głowa może odetchnąć.

🌡️ Było gorąco – 30 stopni! Ale właśnie w takim cieple, kiedy pot spływa po karku, czuję, że żyję. A po takim dniu naprawdę trzeba się poruszać, żeby nie eksplodować.

Ten wpis to mój sposób, by zamknąć ten dzień, oddychać głębiej i powiedzieć:
„Było ciężko, ale przeszłam przez to. Zrobiłam, co trzeba. I nie zapomniałam o sobie.”
