After a full day of work, we were not in the mood for cooking anything, so we agreed to meet up in our favorite local Indian restaurant, Aroma.
I drove up with our daughter, and my wife was already there, though they were still five minutes away from opening.
As we were standing there by the restaurant, one of the guys from the restaurant spotted us, came out of the restaurant and despite our objections invited us inside.
We were the first ones there, so we picked our favorite table and sat down. He brought us the menus, and I was excited to learn that today is the unlimited Tiffins special.
I tried it before and really liked it. I tried a little bit of everything this time, but my favorite was definitely Dosa Masala.
As we were sitting there, traditional Russian music began playing, which was a nice surprise
We also ordered Naan bread as they make awesome bread. Our daughter, as usual, ordered chicken Tika Masala.
We had Pina Colada and Virgin Mohito for our drinks. To finish it up, we ordered a couple of deserts.
As we were sitting there, a very young Indian couple came in. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, they picked the table right next to us and sat down right behind me.
My wife commented that they looked really in love. And that they were very cute together. I couldn't see them, but I couldn't help but overhear their conversation.
Surpringly, they were talking about cars she was telling him how she wanted to buy a Mercedes, and he was wisely counciling her that it might not be the best choice.
I was sitting there, and thinking how times change, it could have been us thirty years ago. These days, our priorities and conversations are much different...
Life is a very interesting thing...
