Today, the smoke from fires burning in Central Washington became really noticeable. The smell of smoke is clearly in the air today. The last few days, it was just visible as the haze in the distance and sunsets that were of extreme raspberry color.
Today, it is really bad, and we have an indoor air cleaner that detects pollution and starts working harder. It has been working overtime and showing level three pollution inside our home. That is despite us having the highest quality filtration system in our home:
Our whole house filter is a reusable filter from K&N that is rated as Merv 11. Apparently, that is not enough, or the smoke seeps in through the tiny spaces from outside.
Today, our ladies did a sale of our daughter's paintings. They were able to sell ten paintings and make around two hundred thirty five dollars.
It was very impressive for the first time! I helped set up the table and the bench. But these kinds of events are not my thing, I am not a sales guy.
So I retreated to my office and finished some upgrades at work, then waited for the ladies to wrap it up.
Today, I managed to get over ten thousand steps again. We went for a short walk with my wife, and the rest must be me pacing back and forth while waiting for them LOL.
