Today started early for us, wife was flying out to San Diego for a business trip, so she set alarm for four in the morning.
I got up as well to make her our traditional morning coffee and this time I also fried her an egg. At around five thirty in the morning the Uber arrived to take her to the airport.

I got some more sleep until around seven in the morning when my day really started. I woke up our daughter and gave her Red Berries cereal with milk.
Yesterday she was planning to eat it with yogurt, but changed her mind this morning and requested it to be made with milk.

Then we packed her lunch that was mostly prepared by the real mom, but I did assist this morning by cutting her half of a large Honey Crisp apple.
Then was time to drive her to school, her school is about thirty minutes away and today the drive was completely uneventful unlike yesterday when we witnessed a car accident right in front of the entrance to her school.

Getting home took a bit longer because of the traffic. After arriving home I went to Costco to pick up some food and fill up my car. These days it is around $100 to fill up the tank of gas, gone are the days I was spending twenty bucks to fill up my tank.
After getting back home I had lunch and worked on my grill. One of the burners started malfunctioning it would burn yellow flame and would even send flame to the compartment with wires which didn't look safe at all.

I took apart the grill and methodically narrowed down the issue to the burner itself, I even switched placement of second and third burners and the problem moved with the burner.
It turns out that the problem was caused by a piece of plastic left deep inside the burner that was kind of hard to see. I was able to remove it and the issue went away.

After that I started working on removing my tomatoe plants, but was not able to finish it as it was time to drive and pick up my daughter from school.
On the way back home we stopped by Zeeks pizza and ordered a medium pizza for the two of us. She ordered just cheese on her half and I ordered a Legion of Shroom, which has Italian Sausage, Asiago, Chevre, Fresh Garlic, Shiitake, Button and Portobello Mushrooms on an olive oil base.

When we got home we did a milkshake together using vanilla ice cream, milk, banana, cinnamon and liquid vanilla extract.
Then she played with Legos for a little while and told me all about the resort she built and how the guests arrive to the hotel where they are greeted by the hotel staff and helped with the luggage. Then they go to the activity desk after which they proceed to the smoothie bar and after that they are driven in a boat to the resort where they engage in various activities.
Oh and this whole resort is owned by three alpaca. I must say girls have a completely different way to play with Legos and use elaborate real world type scenarios. Our son had a much simpler way to play with Legos.
