Image above is what I just paid for a fill up at Costco. Unfortunately these gas prices have absolutely no effect on the traffic around Seattle. Everything is as clogged up as ever and we keep talking about more days in the office so the traffic is going to keep increasing...
I took a sick day today to have root canals redone on a couple of my molars. I was fascinated by the amount of new technology used at the Endodontics office. From hand held x-ray to digital drills which gave real time readout to the microscope with built-in digital camera.
It all was pretty cool and interesting to see. And even with all of that technology she was not able to take out some of the old plastic material from one of the roots. It was just stuck so bad that even after spending over an hour on this single root two millimeters of old plastic material still remains.
She did get the other root so hopefully with an eight minutes of deep cleaning with a gentlewave machine it will all be taken care of and the tooth is going to be saved.
Right now I have a swollen cheek but it doesn't really hurt as I am on over a thousand milligrams of Ibuprofen that they gave me. I am supposed to take that every six hours for a couple days.
I did blow through my dental insurance and then some in these last two days and had also paid about a thousand dollars for these two teeth on top of insurance. I will also need a crown to be redone on at least one of these teeth, but that will have to wait until the next year when I get some more dental insurance money.
Tomorrow is back to work and back to school for our daughter. I will be the designated driver there and back tomorrow. Today my wife drove her in the morning and I drove her back from school in the evening.
Tomorrow is also going to be a Fortune Draws in Splinterlands and I am looking forward to seeing what I will get. Last Fortune Draws were really good for me and I got a black foil legendary reward card.
End of the season in Splinterlands is also close so I will see if I will be able to get into the top league Champion 1
