My Actifit Report Card: July 20 2026

in Actifit2 days ago

Today was back to work day. Monday is usually intense and today was even more intense because I am taking a day off tomorrow to do some work on our island home.

Hopefully will mow grass and finish wiring the sauna. It is going to be a full day of physical work so I should get a pretty good number of steps.

Today I got a pretty good number of steps thanks to a weight lifting workout. I also did one hundred pull ups and two hundred push ups.

In the news I am hearing that we are in day ten of our airstrikes against Iran. And three American soldiers have died two in Jordan and one in Iraq.

I am hearing on Fox News war propaganda and people calling for expanding operation in the middle east to include a ground campaign.

For example general Kellogg has called for US to do something dramatic in Iran like occupy Kharg Island. That seems crazy and could lead to a lot more American casualties.

Oil is already up to the highest price in over a month. And oil stockpiles are down to record lows in America.

This is not looking good, the economy is going to suffer and I would expect a bear market some time this year or in 2027...

Are the stockpiles really that low or is that just what they are saying? I'd be curious to know the truth there. I would guess it lands somewhere in the middle. I hope your work week goes well.

I heard on Fox News that strategic petroleum reserve is at record low levels, I would guess that is true, because they are always putting a positive spin on everything Trump and Iran war related...

Yeah, that is a good point. I just know a while ago Azirc was saying we weren't even close to having an oil shortage.

I think our current administration has been quietly releasing oil from strategic petroleum reserve to keep gas prices from spiking even higher...

Also Azircon was probably talking about oil in the ground and not about oil that is readily available to produce gasoline?

It was back when the whole Venezuela thing happened. He wrote a post about it.
