I was outside working all day, and I realized that the house was probably warming up!😅
Cot followed me from room to room, as I quickly opened all the windows!😊
“Cot, I don’t think you can feel the heat through all your thick fur, but Mom will want us to cool the house down!”😅
“Every window in the house is now open my boy, this hasn’t happened since last year Lol!”😻
I wanted to enjoy a nice cool hike for today………………..

I haven’t checked on my Canadian friend, and fellow Pilot Grant, in quite some time.
Grants properly is in the deep forest. His hiking his trails sounded like a shady, refreshing, hike!
He was nowhere to be found……..
Lately his visits to this cabin have tapered off.
Life gets so busy!🙄
During the Winter, when he rarely spends time here, Grant covers the glass front door with plywood for security.
I pressed my iPhone against the glass to get a nice photo of the inside…………
I guess my friend plans on coming down for the weekend, I must have just missed him!😮
I wandered through the tall trees on his property.
The Sun was casting shadows across the ground………….
This was definitely a good choice for today’s hike!😊
Soon, Liz would be coming home, it was time to head back.
While I was gone, I had once again closed up all the windows in the house, and at the front door sat Cot looking exasperated, and hot!😻
The inside temperature was pushing 73 degrees!🥵
“No fire in the wood stove tonight my boy, welcome to Summertime in the Pacific Northwest………….
Cot, let’s go reopen all these windows, I think I hear Moms car pulling in the driveway!” 🥰
