What’s happening you ask Lol!😇
This Thursday August 7 is the opening day of the 2025 Northwest Washington Fair!🤗
The weather cooled down today, so Liz wanted to walk the “Newer” unshaded section of the Lynden City Park.
Everywhere you look people are getting ready for the Fair!
At the local gas station a man drove up to the pump on an antique tractor!
I’m sure this is going to be in one of the exhibits!
We continued to hike up to the trailhead, that’s when we passed a local Propane dealer “Northwest Propane”.
Parked out front was this year’s entry to the annual demolition derby!😊
Notice the steel beams bolted through both front and rear doors!😇
All the glass windows have been removed, and even the “Modern” front bumper has been replaced with a steel beam!😀
We always take a day to enjoy the Fair, and strangely, Liz and I haven’t ever stopped long enough to sit in the grandstand to watch the demolition Derby Lol!🫣
We usually find ourselves just exploring everything, till late into the evening!

A good friend and coworker from my previous job at the Lynden Tribune, lives on a side street within walking distance of the Fairgrounds………….
“Silvertop, you and Liz are always welcome to park your car in my front yard. Just be careful you don’t get your car “Locked” in, as lots of my other friends will be parking in the grass as well!”😊
“Thanks Dennis, can Liz “BURN RUBBER” in your front yard Lol?”😇💪
Dennis is awesome, for a while he was also a Silver stacker…………….
Once a Month, I would make a trip to our Local Coin shop, for us, and Dennis as well!😊
