After Church today, Liz and Silvertop went exploring up at the logging clear cut, at the end of our road………no one was working on Sunday!😇
You are looking at 80 acres of timber harvesting!
Our youngest son, a new Father, was sending us photos of our Granddaughter Olivia, and Silvertop and Liz were sending back photos of what was left of this section of this pristine forest!😮
“I can see the “ Phoenix cell tower” on the neighboring Mountain from up top honey, what an awesome signal strength!”☺️
Liz wasn’t happy…… no one likes to see the forest like this…..🙄

It sounds like this land will go up for sale after they are finished logging. Two twenty acre property’s, and one 40 acre home site up top!

When we were first married, we avoided a variable rate home mortgage rate like the plague……
Each year your mortgage could go up with inflation!🙄
Now days, even if you are retired and have paid off your home, you still have a variable rate mortgage that goes up every year…..Property Taxes!😮
A new home built at this hilltop location, would be at least $10,000 a year in Property Tax’s …… THIS year!😳
$11,000 to $12,000 next year if the County pushes through more “Bonds”!
Isn’t it strange how they use the term “Bonds” when they want MORE of your money Lol!😇
Still the builder in Silvertop could not help but admire the view from this new homesite up top, even on a smoky day!
“Liz, it looks and smells like Canada is burning! This is the first time we’ve had Forest Forest smoke coming down from Canada this year!”😮
