Yep you guessed it correctly, the forecast is rain again Lol!🙄
Surprisingly, the Nooksack River is still low, and safely within its riverbanks!😇
You can see from the first few photos, that this river can pack a punch when it floods!😮
Just look at the size of the trees and logs, that have recently been carried downstream!😳
Without much notice, this river can become deadly!😬
Last year Liz and Silvertop hiked down to this riverbank after an intense storm, to check out the floodwaters……………..
I was surprised, that the local Police had not closed the access roads, and or shut down the “Everson River Park”!🤔
My youngest son and his Wife frequently fly to Hungry to see his Wife’s relatives!🥰
“Dad…. Over in Hungary, they don’t have protective guardrails on the older tall buildings! Hungarians figure you need to be responsible for yourself!”😇
So very well stated son! In this day and age, we rely too much on “Big Government” to protect us, and supply us with our every need in life!🙄
