Silvertop and Liz counted up the total number of “Devices and or Smart Devices “ in our home…………..
“Liz, I am counting 37 devices on line!”😳
In August we upgraded to Starlink satellite Internet!
Our Starlink satellite and Modem runs completely on Solar power, so we have eliminated any possibility of being “Off Line”!😇
I asked Chat GPT what would happen if one of Starlink’s ground stations went down, would we loose the Internet?
“Silvertop, multiple satellites “Talk/ transfer” your data via lasers to each other if needed, before they “Talk” to a ground station, to keep you continuously connected. Even if one ground station went down, the Starlink constellation of satellites, will continue to connect seamlessly with other ground stations either near you, or in other countries around the world, with extremely low latency!”
So there you have it, even during the Ukraine war communications, using Starlink never went down!

That brings us back to our weakest link, our two modems that were hardwired into the Starlink Modem……………
With so many devices Alexa was being taxed, and devices started to misbehave!🤔
Enter Eero internet from Amazon!😊
One main hub is hardwired into the Starlink modem. From there two more wireless “Mesh” hubs, spread the signal up to 5,000 sq feet across your home!
Today was spent reconnecting each and every device, one at a time, to the new Eero internet mesh network!😅
Hours of work, and Liz and Silvertop still need to connect three printers, and our mini- split heat pump, ( on another day) Lol!☺️
All three of the Eero hubs also run on Solar Power with battery backup………..
Now Liz and Silvertop can relax and watch the Sunset……at 4PM Lol!😎
“Alexa, turn on computer”……………..
“I don’t see a computer on your Smart device list Silvertop!”😮
Well……… It looks like we another device to reconnect………Tomorrow Lol!😇
