1:30 AM and the sound of a hard rain pounding on the glass skylight directly over our waterbed was deafening!😳
I fumbled in the dark, to turn on my iPhone…………..
The Nooksack River was over 81 feet, and rising……… Again!!!!!🙄😅
Someone on Twitter/X said they had seen this pattern before!……..🤔
Atmospheric river………….
Then dangerous, high winds, and back to another atmospheric river, and THEN…… the cold would set in!
Well we haven’t had the cold…….Yet!😇
Liz texted me from work later on this morning…………..
“Silvertop the river level is dropping!”🤗🥰
Yea!……….That is such a relief, after last night’s rain, I really thought we were going for “Round Two” of flooding!🙄
Then about 10 AM it happened…………….
The Sun made its appearance!😎
I watched my Solar battery percentage charge gauge, start start ramping up!
90 percent charged………….
95 percent………..
100 percent charged, we were back to producing solid electricity!💪🤗
There’s always so much work that is needed to be done each day, but Sunny days in December are far and few!😇
“Silvertop when FedEx delivers the two large dehumidifiers for the vision clinic, will you drive them down here and set them up?”🥰
“Absolutely Liz, before they are delivered, I’m going for a hike up to Tim’s off grid cabin up on the “High Trail”!😍
I couldn’t pass up a Sunny hike, after all Liz tells me it will be raining tomorrow ……AGAIN …Lol!😅
