“A Bridge Too Far!”☺️
Bridges were everywhere on today’s hike my friends!😊
I guess it’s a good thing Liz is fueling up with TWO mocha Frappuccino‘s, for our long hike down at the Lynden City Park!😍
“Silvertop they forgot to add chocolate to my mocha, so Starbucks said just keep it, we will make you a new mocha!”🥰
More caffeine, more energy, my friends Lol!😇
Liz wanted to check out the “New” section of hiking trails today………..
The older section of the Park is forested with older Western Red Cedar trees, that you can see in the beginning of today’s post!
It’s a cool shady hike in the Summer………
After 1.20 inches of rainfall in the last 24 hours, you can see that the creek is high, and running fast!😮
With the Sunshine back today, everyone was out enjoying “Springtime Lol” in the Pacific Northwest!😇
Over at the “New” side of the Park, they have been busy planting seedling trees and shoreline plants!😊
A new cable suspension bridge built in 2024 is the highlight of this side of the Park!
Silvertop was snapping a photo of the paved walking path full of baby trees, as the bridge began to MOVE!😳
The engineers of this bridge, definitely built this bridge for only pedestrian traffic!
One person walking across this bridge can start it bouncing!🙄
I looked over at Liz, to see her purposely trying to make this bridge shake for Silvertop Lol!🤣🥰
Trees grow very quickly in the Northwest, and I’m glad the City planners had the foresight to plant baby trees for the future!👍
Just think….. someday someone, will be walking through a tall forest of trees, on this “New” hiking trail, and probably not even give the forest a passing thought…………….
Just like the older, majestic, forest of Cedar trees, we just walked through!😊
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
