“Working for the weekend!”🤗
It seems like everyone is busy working this time of year…….Except Cot Lol!😻
While Silvertop was outside splitting firewood this morning, I started hearing the sound of heavy machinery running………it was coming from the forest!🤔
I took a break from my work, to go and find out where the sound was coming from …………………
It was Jamie one of my neighbors, running a full sized excavator! He was hard at work extracting a full-size tree stump from the ground!😳
“That’s the way to pull stumps out of the ground, Jamie!”💪
It looks like he is clearing more pasture for his Cows!😊
My hiking destination today was Grants Off Grid cabin.
Every so often, I make it a point to go pull on all of his cabin doors, to make sure everything is OK!😇
Grant has been busy splitting firewood as well!
Just check out his selection of three hatchets, and a nice wood splitting ax!😊
I’m sure he burns, quite a bit of firewood for the Winter!
Silvertop has several heating and cooling backups for our home………….
Grant does not, wood heat is his only source of heat, and his wood stove keeps this cabin nice and toasty!☺️
Last Month he mentioned that he was seriously looking to sell this cabin!🙄
The “For Sale” sign hasn’t gone up yet, and everyone in the neighborhood is hoping he has a change of heart, and stays!😇
If you look closely, you can see that Silvertop isn’t the only one watching over Grants slice of the Forest Lol!😮
Silvertop felt “Eyes” watching him, as I pulled on the front door handle to make sure it was secure!😮
Maybe Silvertop needs to cut his latte consumption down to two a day, I believe I just saw a “Little People” Lol!😇
Just wait till I take you on a hike higher up in the Mountains my friends, you just might get introduced to one of the Northwest very Green “Local” inhabitants Lol!🐸
