Today Silvertop hand split firewood till noon, and stopped for the day to enjoy a nice hike up to “Towhee Ridge”!😊
I checked my Fitbit App, to see how my steps were doing just before I started today’s hike……………..
“Ready to hit your target today? Aiming for 73 to 126 Cardio load will get you back on track!”😳
“Liz….. maybe Fitbit needs to come over and start swinging an Ax! The fitness App is telling me I only have a “Cardio Load” of 55, and I just split three heaping wheelbarrow loads of very green firewood!”😅
I asked Chat GPT about the numbers……..
“Bottom line Silvertop, your heart wasn’t taxed, your muscles were!
And honestly, what you did was fantastic, even if the algorithm yawns at it!”😇💪
It comes down to achieving a balance my friends!☺️
Hiking steep mountain trails, will give me a better cardiovascular workout, but splitting firewood definitely is a muscular workout!😅
Since I don’t wear my Fitbit at night my “Daily Readiness” score is basically nonfunctioning at 35!😬

“Dude, you could try wearing your Fitbit at night, to get a more accurate score….
Or ignore it entirely, you’ve got better proof, you feel great, heart stays chill, and you’re chopping wood like it’s 1985… keep doing it!”💪🤗
