Well, there’s more to this story my friends!😇

SNOW!!!!!!🙄

It was coming down hard in the form of “Corn Snow”!
In early Spring (June Lol😇)……in the High Country of Colorado, this form of snow is very common!
Think miniature hail/ ice balls, some people also call this popcorn snow, because it makes a crackling sound as it hits the ground!☺️
Silvertop stopped and grabbed his ball cap, I was quickly covered with this now rapidly melting snow!😂
First thing on today’s agenda, was splitting firewood for our wood stove………….
Then I split three heaping wheel barrow loads of the Spruce, that I recently cut, and that’s when the corn snow began………….
“Cot…. Can you light the fire in the wood stove for Dad?”😻
“Good boy, it’s cold outside!”
I could see my breath!…………
It’s a strange phenomenon……….🤔
The current outside temperature was sitting at 40 degrees Fahrenheit, but a cold nor’easter wind was blowing!🥶
It was like I was watching a horror movie, where an evil entity was standing right beside me, breathing his cold breath on me!😳😬
Burrr………………..🥶
“Cot, Dad needs to warm up, toss another log on the fire……I’ll split more!”🤣
It’s a good thing the Sun was somewhat making an appearance today!
After I finished these chores, I bundled up, and headed up to the “High Trail” for a hike!😊
“Cot, keep the house warm, Dad will be back soon!
Ohhh…………….
I left the snow shovel by the garage door for you, in case it keeps snowing!
Don’t get too bored sleeping in front of a nice warm fire my boy!”😻😇
