“Uhhh…..This Dude Wants To Pay With Bitcoin!”🤣
Silvertop was up at five AM checking the Nooksack river level🙄
Last night it hovered at just over “Flood Stage” at just over 83 feet…..all evening!😮
It’s at 80 Feet Liz!😅
Homes, and businesses, hung onto the hope that the river level would quickly drop…………….and it looked like we had just “dodged a bullet”!😮
Silvertop was also worried about driving through flooded roads early this morning!
We were looking forward to going to the once a year “Whatcom Conservation Tree and Native Plant Sale”!😊
“It looks like it’s still dropping Liz, let’s go for it!”😇
This plant sale is first come first served, unless you spend over $100…….
Under that amount, you get there extra early, and grab the plants you want quickly before they are gone Lol!😇☺️
When we made it to the line of people waiting for the sale to start, we were 20 minutes before opening……………
There were 75 to 100 people already waiting in front of us!
“Hello David, are you buying trees as well?”🤗
David is my neighbor that lives in the “Tiny House”!😊
“Silvertop, I pre-order $200 worth of trees, I don’t know where I will put them Lol!”🤣
David’s father owns his own nursery, and I guess he couldn’t resist buying plants!☺️
“Liz I noticed that they are taking “Square” for payments, did you know that Jack Dorsey the owner, is rolling out bitcoin payments! By the end of 2026 all merchants using square will be able to accept bitcoin for payment!”💪☺️
“Nice Silvertop….. are you selling your Bitcoin?”🥰
“Uhhh……. Ask them if they still take “Fiat” Lol!”🤣
Now if we can find a safe road to take back home……….Silvertop will start planting trees!🤗
