“Tag You Are It!”🤗
If you have ever had the pleasure to live near cattle country, you probably have heard of the “game” locals play on unsuspecting “City dwellers”, called “SLAP the BULL”!😇
If you have the opportunity, watch the movie “Wild Hogs”, where a local shows an unsuspecting person exactly how this is carefully done Lol!🤣
Here’s the movie Trailer 😊
You definitely don’t want to take chances with a dangerous wild animal with horns!😬
Years ago Liz and Silvertop “adopted” a “High Altitude Nubian” like you see in the second photo. She was just a baby, only three months old when we got her. We never had the heart to have her dehorned………….
Liz named her “Mocha”, and as she would tell friends, she was a “Dog with a can opener on her head” Lol!😇
She became the family “Dog” if you will, and you can see Mocha, and our youngest son in the third picture!😊
This was taken back at our home in Colorado, and yes….. if you look close enough, you can see that our son put baby diapers on Mocha so she could come inside Lol!
Mocha joined the family on our cross country relocation to Washington State, and lived the rest of her life with us in the Pacific Northwest!😍
Would we ever get another Nubian…….
They are sweet, but probably not……….😇
We quickly learned that the Northwest isn’t a healthy place for Nubians!😮
They can eat almost anything in the forest, but they also tend to get sick easier, and sometimes quickly!🙄
Liz became our live in resident veterinarian, and we always kept a supply of needles, antibiotics, and vitamin B on hand!😇
With the weather turning colder again, Silvertop is glad that our “furry children” are inside only “children” now!😻
Ohhh……PEPE, you should stay inside as well, I’ll light a fire in the wood stove! You can warm up next to Cot and Cyle!🐸
I know some guy that is a firewood hoarder, and he has plenty of firewood Lol!😇🤣
Happy Springtime everyone!☔️😅
Till tomorrow this is Silvertop Mike 😊
