Burrr…… it looks like Silvertop will be lighting a fire in the wood stove tonight!☺️
It’s hard to believe that two days ago we were sitting at 83°F🥵
Today we are thirty degrees colder with the temperature at 53°F!😮
Liz and Silvertop like to sleep with our bedroom windows open, and last night was somewhat chilly Lol!☺️
As I type my post today, our living room is down to 64°F ……………
Yep, time for a fire in the wood stove!😇
I certainly hope our “Grand dog” Phoenix brings her nice warm blanket when she comes to visit “Grandma and Grandpa”later this Summer! She doesn’t have very thick fur being a dachshund/Rhodesian Ridgeback!😍
The weather can change in the blink of an eye my friends Lol!😇
Shorts and just a t-shirt for my hikes earlier this week, now Silvertop is back to wearing a hoodie….. or two!☺️
Not to worry, the weather forecast is showing the daily temperatures gradually going back up for the next few days!
Even though the clouds look ominous, there is ZERO chance of rain for the next week as well!👍🤗
What this probably means is that the Eastern side of the Cascade Mountains might see some rain……………..maybe Lol!😅
These weather swings are typical for the Pacific Northwest!
It’s the main reason we never really acclimate to hot weather!🙄
Just take a look at the photo of Cot sitting in front of a riproaring fire……….😻
It’s hard to believe this was taken last year on June 8!☺️
I’m sure a day or so later we probably had the A/C going in the house Lol!😇
So with that said, Silvertop will switch our mini split heat pump, from “heat” standby…… to “air-conditioning” standby, AND bring in some more firewood!😊
