“Honest Honey The Water Isn’t That Deep!”😇
Silvertop has always wanted a sailboat…….☺️
When I met Liz, many years ago, one of the first things I discovered, is that she wasn’t able to swim ……at all!🙄
Silvertop…….always the outdoorsman, thought a nice canoe float trip down the “White Water River” would break the ice so to speak Lol!😍
Guys, don’t let the name of this river scare you off!
The White Water River that flows through Brookville Indiana, is normally a very slow flowing river, perfect for “non water people” Lol!😅
Silvertop actually owned his own canoe, and me and my buddies had “floated” this river many times in the past!💪
I put Liz up front, where she really didn’t need to do any paddling……
Silvertop sat on top of the stern of this 15 foot aluminum canoe with a two sided kayak paddle so I could always keep us going straight!😇
“Silvertop I CANNOT Touch the bottom!”😳
I reassured Liz that all was well, even if the bottom was out of reach of her paddle!😍
Somehow the term “depth check” popped into Silvertops head, when Liz was reaching for the elusive bottom of the river with her paddle!☺️
Needless to say, Silvertop’s River “Date” with Liz probably wasn’t the most memorable day for my Lady, but she still chuckles at “depth check” to this day!🤣
“Liz…. that looks like a nice sailboat, are you sure we don’t need one?”😇
“Honey I’m sure you can easily touch bottom from a sailboat in Bellingham Bay!”😇
