“Liz didn’t we just have a fire in the wood stove, just a few days ago?”🙄
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory today, and down in the valley, it hit 91 degrees Fahrenheit!😅
I know……I Know, I can hear you guys now…………😇
“Silvertop, it isn’t HOT till it’s “WELL” over 90 degrees Lol!”🤣
This morning in Church, tall floor fans hummed, circulating the hot air throughout the Sanctuary!🥵
By the time Liz and Silvertop were on our way back home, it was already heating up!
“Silvertop I’m turning on the A/C in our house, this heat is getting to me!”🤔
The Mrs and I grew up in Cincinnati, with long Summer days, where temperatures often approached 100 degrees Fahrenheit with high humidity, we definitely understand hot weather!🥵
It’s a completely different experience in the Pacific Northwest!🙄
Most mornings you can see your breath outside, and just a day ago, I watched my neighbor cut his grass wearing a heavy winter coat, and ski hat!🥶
Of course that’s Jim my neighbor, he’s “Always” cold Lol!😊
That same morning Silvertop was push mowing parts of my backyard wearing shorts and no shirt!😎
“Hi Jim…… it’s another cool Northwest morning!”☺️
Jim just continued mowing on his riding lawnmower, not saying a word Lol!😇
Today was definitely the day to find a shady spot to hike, or sit for a bit, just taking in Summer!😎
“Silvertop I’m already wishing for cooler days! This weekend when we drive down to Seattle, to see our ten Month old baby Granddaughter Olivia, they are calling for a high of 65 degrees Fahrenheit!”🥰
Just blink my friends, and the weather will be completely different Lol!🤗
Stay cool everyone, after today’s hike, Silvertop is spending part of the evening writing this post from inside……. In the air-conditioning!🤗
