I see that the #Magi platform !INDEED allows staking of HBD (therefore earning 15% APR interest) there while still being transferable on that network. π€π @savvyplayer told me to test that platform, where I successfully deposited 1 HIVE. ππ I would have deposited 1 HBD there and staked it, though the Hive blockchain currently does not issue HBD as author rewards, so I would need to ask @savvyplayer to send me 1 HBD to continue my testing on #Magi. π€―πΈπ

I found out that every 1 HBD in a #Magi account adds 1 to the maximum Magi Resource Credits for that account (where Magi accounts that are also Hive accounts have a bonus of 5 max RC, and RC takes 5 days to fully recharge much like Hive RC). π€π€
When I staked that 1 HBD however as sHBD, my max Magi RC got reduced by 1, showing that sHBD does not contribute to a Magi account's max RC. π€―ππ
Yes, the 5-RC bonus for Hive accounts is very helpful. That's what I figured, but it's good to get confirmation. πππβ¨π€

My sHBD on #Magi did not get increased by the 15% APR (which is 1.25% per 30 days) even if it has already been more than 30 days since I staked my HBD there, and I didn't see a "claim sHBD interest" anywhere on its official website either. π€πΈπ€―π

I noticed though that when depositing HIVE or HBD to the corresponding #Magi account of a Hive account, the Magi RC does not get reduced. π€π
Anyway, I edited my previous comment to add the word "maximum" or "max" before "RC", because there is a (huge) difference between "1 RC" and "1 max RC" !INDEED. π€―ππ€

I love that too, especially when they're solid assets! By the way, my friend, we're in the process of making our 'We Are Alive Tribe' token, ALIVE, and now Ben's new token, HEARTBEAT, multi-asset backed, including by gold and silver. Ben's finding the best way to do that now. I'm continuing with my usual task of managing, leveraging, and growing our layer-1 and layer-2 assets, which will be another layer of backing. Things are getting very interesting! πππβ¨π€
I just withdrew 1 HBD from the PEPE frog battle game, so that I won't need to wait for @savvyplayer anymore to send me 1 HBD which I will use to test on the #Magi network !INDEED. π€π I then quickly deposited it to my account on Magi and staked it into "sHBD". ππ I expect to see a 0.001 sHBD (or HBD itself) interest there after about 2.5 days. π€π
When my testing results are good, I would then recommend @savvyplayer to also deposit 1 HBD to Magi using their own Hive account, and then transfer HIVE, HBD, and sHBD with each other as part of the testing process. ππ

Congratulations. I was exploring Magi for a bit, but I'm mostly just waiting for it to be developed and fleshed out a bit more first. Trust Wallet still has issues sending assets as far as I know. I still have 1 HBD in Trust Wallet that I can't send anywhere yet, until they address the issue.
I still want to explore staking and transferring HBD there, though I don't have a lot of HBD to go around, so it just hasn't happened yet. πππβ¨π€

I see that the @vsc.gateway Hive account has more than 1,200 HBD staked, which somewhat accurately represents all the HBD that are staked on the Magi network. π€π

Not necessarily, since HBD can be sent to, and staked in any wallet, not just Hive wallets, so there are probably a fair number of HBD staked in all sorts of compatible wallets. πππβ¨π€
I think that whenever a #Magi account stakes their HBD there as sHBD, the @vsc.gateway Hive account is made to stake the "real" HBD to Savings !INDEED (and the same the other way around). π€π€
Looks like I would need to explore more other blockchains with Hive-Backed Dollar tokens for that one! π§ββοΈπ€―π
