Greetings to all from Tahira Zaman. Today was the 10th of October and it was a Friday. Today, after two days, I am writing an article because my children were very sick. And this article is in the name of a girl who lives in a village and cannot say anything to them about the old rules of the village according to the vision of this village. In a village where there is such a vision as I am writing in this article, even the birth of a woman becomes a crime. There must be thousands of such stories that have not reached us and their voices must have been silenced. In our religion, Allah has clearly said in the Holy Quran that if a man has two shares, then one share will also be for a woman. For example, if there are three kanals of land, then two kanals will be for the son and one kanal for the daughter. According to this article, most people also take the daughter's kanal for themselves, which is oppression and injustice, a sin.

طاہرہ زمان کی طرف سے سب کو پیار بھرا سلام عرض ہو ۔ آج اکتوبر کی دس تاریخ تھی اور جمعہ کا دن تھا ۔ آج دو دن کے بعد ایک آرٹیکل لکھ رہی ہوں کیونکہ میرے بچے بہت بیمار تھے ۔ اور یہ آرٹیکل اس لڑکی کے نام پر جو ایک گاؤں میں زندگی گزارتی ہے اور گاؤں کے پرانے اصولوں کو اس گاؤں کی رویت کے مطابق ان کے سامنے کچھ کہ نہیں سکتی ۔ جس گاؤں میں اس قسم کی رویت ہو جواس آرٹیکل میں لکھ رہی ہوں اس میں عورت کا پیدا ہونا بھی جرم بن جاتا ہے ۔ اس قسم کی ہزاروں کہانیاں ہو گی جو ہم تک نہیں پہنچی ہوں گی اور ان کی آواز کو بند کر دیا گیا ہو گا ۔ ہمارے مذہب میں قرآن مجید میں اللّٰہ نے واضح ارشاد فرمایا ہے کہ اگر مرد کے دو حصے ہوں گے تو ایک حصہ عورت کا بھی ہو گا مثال اس طرح ہے کہ اگر تین کنال زمین کی ہیں تو دو کنال بیٹے کی اور ایک کنال بیٹی کی ہوگی ۔ اس آرٹیکل کے کے مطابق اکثر لوگ بیٹی کی وہ کنال بھی خود لے لیتے ہیں جو ظلم ہے اور نا انصافی ہے گنا ہے

شادی کے کئی سال بعد والد اور بھائی لڑکی کے گھر آرہے تھے ۔ وہ بہت خوش تھی کہ میرے بھائی اور والد میرے گھر آرئے ہیں ۔ کئی پکوان تیار کیے تھے اس خوشی میں ۔ مشروب بنائے تھے جوس وغیرہ۔ لڑکی خوشی سے پھولی نہیں سما رہی تھی ۔ خدا خدا کر کے انتظار کی گھڑیاں ختم ہوئیں ۔ وہ بڑے شوق سے انکو ڈرائینگ روم میں لیکر آئی ۔ باپ نے اسکے سر پر ہاتھ رکھا بھائیوں نے بھی حال چال پوچھا ۔ وہ جلدی سے ٹھنڈے مشروب لے آئی ۔
"ناں بیٹی " باپ نے دیکھتے ہی کہا " ہمارے خاندان میں بیٹیوں کے گھر کا پانی بھی حرام سمجھا جاتا ہے ۔ اسے واپس لیجا ۔ ہم تو تجھے دیکھنے آئے تھے بس اب چلتے ہیں ۔" یہ کہہ کر والد اور بھائی واپس چلے گئے اور اسے وہ دن یاد آگیا جب وہ دلہن بنی بیٹھی تھی ۔ کمرے میں اسکی سہیلیاں خوش گپیوں میں مصروف اسے چھیڑ رہی تھیں کہ والد اور بھائی آگئے تھے ۔
"دیکھ بیٹی" والد نے اس سے مخاطب ہو کر کہا تھا ۔ "ہمارے خاندان کی ریت ہے کہ شادی سے پہلے بیٹیاں اپنی جائیداد سے دستبرداری کرتی ہیں ۔ لے بیٹی تو بھی اس کاغذ پر سائن کردے "
اور پھر اس سے دستبرداری کے کاغذات پر دستخط کروا لیے گئے تھے ۔
اور اب وہ چپ چاپ کھڑی یہی سوچتی رہ گئی کہ یہ کیسی ریت کیسا رواج ہے کہ بیٹیوں کے گھر کا پانی پینا تو حرام ہے پر انکی جائیداد کا حصہ ہڑپ کرنا حلال ہے ۔
