I hope you enjoy a nice, relaxing Sunday, and find some time to post an Actifit report, that is kill two birds with one stone, as they say.
Speaking of killing, did you know that today is International Women's Day for Peace and Disarmament?
I like this idea, and yes, women can and must have an active role in establishing peace both regionally and globally.
On the other hand, it was a woman, Helen of Troy, whose abduction by Paris led to the Trojan War.
Of course, there was another woman, Lysistrata, the key character in one of Aristophanes's comedies, who tried to put an end to the Peloponnesian War by persuading other women not to go to bed with their warrior spouses, as a form of sanction.
Can you imagine this happening today?
For example, Russian and Ukrainian, as well as Jewish and Palestinian, women doing the same thing.
It sounds funny, but this could be a far more effective way to end conflict than economic and other sanctions and measures.
Finally, since May is in full force, I've got some pictures of blooming flowers and green nature to show you.
