That's basically what Qortal is working to build, especially with the integration of Reticulum/mesh technology. Centralized anything, including internet service providers, are all going bye bye. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

The #Reticulum technology is interesting !INDEED. 😎 @crrdlx has published some posts and comments about that here on Hive within the past 8 months. 🤓 I have read posts online about that encrypted by design network stack being usable on common hardware, but still needs widespread adoption. 🧘‍♂️🤓

Reticulum seems great for sure. The problem I see at the moment is that it is all still very hardware nerdy. The users seem to spend most of their time explaining and talking about their rigs. It involves software, special hardware, soldering, etc which weeds out almost everyone. It'll take time, in my view.

Given #Reticulum's technical requirements, even someone who would like to try it out can't simply purchase a "ready-to-use Reticulum kit" or something (online) and use it (at home). 🧘‍♂️🤯🤓 !WEIRD !LOLZ

There are some ready to use meshtastic devices, I think. They look a lot like an old blackberry. Still, I wonder.

I saw quite a lot of negative reviews on that product page of that suppsedly "ready-to-use" device for #Reticulum, citing problems with some parts not working properly !INDEED. 🤯🤓 !WEIRD !HOPE !PIZZA

It sure is, and that's interesting to know, especially since most people aren't aware of it yet. Yes, it allows communication and networking across a wide array of frameworks, including long-range radio, among many others. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
