It's so interesting that dead cedar stumps are such good environments for new trees to germinate and grow. I've seen it with other trees, but only from stumps on the ground, not much above ground level, but never up in a standing dead tree. I'm still trying to imagine that...lol! πππβ¨π€
We have quite a few like this on our 5 acres, I actually planted a Douglas fur that was given to us back in approximately 2008 and it has grown into a very large tree!!ππ€
That's very cool, my friend! I've always loved Douglas firs. We had several trees of the Rocky Mountain variant on the farm where I grew up in New Jersey! πππβ¨π€
Sounds like you've had experience of many different climates around the world my friend!ππ
Always nice to experience different parts of the world!π
Yes, that's actually very true! I grew up in rural SW New Jersey, I lived in Costa Rica on and off for 10 years, I lived in the deserts of Arizona for 9 years, then on to Dallas and Austin, Texas, then back to Arlington, Virginia for a handful of months, then off to Oregon for 8 months, and finally to Hawai'i, where I've been for over 8 years now! πππβ¨π€
Sounds like you have had had quite the adventure living in different climates around the world!!πππ€
Indeedy, my friend, and of all of them, I love tropical the best! πππβ¨π€
Thanks a lot, my friend, and it does have its perks! πππβ¨π€
