In this post I present a cover of the song "Abba Father". It is a song of supplication and worship to God. It calls on God to send His Spirit on us His children.
Talking about the word "Abba", it refers to the tender and loving quality of someone. Thus, in reference to God, it means, the tender and loving God.
The word Abba can be seen in the Scriptures as used by Jesus himself calling God the Father Abba and asking Him for a favour.
There is a comparison between the Abba as used by Jesus and the God of the Israelites who was characterised as a God who kills.
The problem is trying to comprehend how the two go together as they seem to be on a very different lane.
The case is that the Abba is one and does not change, He is a loving God who loves without condition. However, the Israelites had understood the nature of God from their culture and tradition and the events of their time.
So what we see in the old testament about the God who kills is only a construction of the Israelites about God and not really as it is.
I make this cover as a way of giving thanks to the Abba Father who never stops being so kind and generous in my life. My life is a complete testimony of His love.
We can all try to take a stock of our lives and we will surely arrive at that point where we realise that it has been God all the while and not by our efforts.

En esta publicación presento una versión de la canción "ABBA Father". Es una canción de súplica y adoración a Dios. Llama a Dios que nos envíe a Su Espíritu a nosotros sus hijos.
Hablando de la palabra "ABBA", se refiere a la calidad tierna y amorosa de alguien. Así, en referencia a Dios, significa, el dios tierno y amoroso.
La palabra Abba se puede ver en las Escrituras utilizadas por Jesús mismo llamando a Dios el Padre Abba y pidiéndole un favor.
Hay una comparación entre la ABBA utilizada por Jesús y el Dios de los israelitas que se caracterizó como un Dios que mata.
El problema es tratar de comprender cómo los dos van juntos, ya que parecen estar en un carril muy diferente.
El caso es que el ABBA es uno y no cambia, es un Dios amoroso que ama sin condición. Sin embargo, los israelitas habían entendido la naturaleza de Dios de su cultura y tradición y los eventos de su tiempo.
Entonces, lo que vemos en el Antiguo Testamento sobre el Dios que mata es solo una construcción de los israelitas sobre Dios y no como es realmente como es.
Hago esta portada como una forma de dar gracias al padre de ABBA que nunca deja de ser tan amable y generoso en mi vida. Mi vida es un testimonio completo de su amor.
Todos podemos tratar de tomar un stock de nuestras vidas y seguramente llegaremos a ese punto donde nos damos cuenta de que ha sido Dios todo el tiempo y no por nuestros esfuerzos.
