Wednesday Addams Dance Scene
Let's watch Wednesday Addams dance to the Goo Goo Muck.
Let's dance with her like its 2022.
Source:
This is just one YouTube video of this Wednesday segment and it has 65 Million views. Add in all the other videos of this clip and you're in the hundreds of Millions of views.
The original Goo Goo Muck was by Ronnie Cook and The Gaylads and it is from 1962. The version we heard in the above video of Wednesday doing her dance is the cover by The Cramps. They did their version for their 1981 album called The Psychedelic Jungle. If I recall, it wasn't all that psychedelic. More R & B with a 60s rock sound.
But this version of Goo Goo Muck was always cool. You could hear it in punk and goth clubs back in the day, and maybe still today.
Who Are The Dandy Warhols
So you may not know The Dandy Warhols but you might know at least one of their tunes. "Bohemian Like You" was a huge hit and was used in several commercials over the years.
This is the official video from 2011, it has over 22 million views. The video is part story that follows the lyrics, and part karaoke bar fun. This version has the nude people's parts blurred so it is safe for work and kids, more or less.
Do you remember this tune?
The Dandy Warhols are a kind of neo psychedelic indie band. Some of their stuff has the big beat, like this one, but some are more slow and dreamy.
They feature guitars and organ for their instrumentation, and of course drums and bass guitar. The singer is a cool dude and I like his voice.
The Dandys Cover Goo Goo Muck
So this just dropped 2 days ago. I think it's trippy enough to fit in with the standard Dandy sound, but it also stays fairly true to The Cramps classic Goo Goo Muck vibe. The reverb in here from the lead guitar is full on. Almost like Tommy James and The Shondells doing Crimson and Clover, but the tempo is faster. The guitar solo is pretty spot on from The Cramps, and we get a little more of it at the end.
Well let's hear it!
I'd give it a 9 out of 10 and ya, you can surely dance to it!
Tokenfaucet Friends - ALWAYS Read to the END!
Three weeks ago, we dropped a post over there entitled
GM and Happy March from the Free Token Faucet
and you can find that post right here:
https://peakd.com/giveaway/@tokenfaucet/gm-and-happy-march-from-the-free-token-faucet
Some people read all the way to the end and acted upon the suggestion, most didn't. That's okay. Everyone interacts here as they choose.
What did it say at the end?
Say GM! in the comments. This is a test. k, bye.
Today we see what the "test" was all about.
If you said GM in your first reply to that post, then you just got hundreds of #PEPE tokens For Free. Go see.
So the takeaway is, always read @tokenfaucet posts carefully and read all the way to the end.
The End
Thanks for reading and Have a Nice Day!!!
