I was rather bored this week with all the old stuff my iphone shared with me - not that I wanted to explore something new to me, just wanted to refresh my usual list of names and tracks. So, for this week #ttt blog I pick up an artist whose name - I am more than sure - says nothing to you. The name is: Muslimgauze. Tags: #electronic, #industrial, #noise, #avantgarde, #arab, 1990-es.
Muslimgauze occupied a strange place in the musical world. He did not performed live, did not seek popularity; since mid-1980s he was hiding in his home studio in Manchester, UK, and digging a hole in his own unique direction. One of the iconic names in the world of electronic music and the industrial genre. His creative legacy is enormous - after his death in early 1996, various labels continued to explore and publish his archives, and of course, there appeared a lot of archival compilations and reissues of his old albums. The Guinness Book of Records even labelled him as the most prolific "dead" composer.
The first piece I selected is from 'Ingaza' album, it is very short - just 1:16.
I will certainly introduce you to more details of his biography and creative evolution in the future. If you are not afraid of the industrial genre, of course. Enjoy!!

Muslimgauze - Grass of Sidi Bou Said
Youtube indicates it was watched 53 times, and got two likes only, hehe. Enjoy the rare stuff! Welcome to the club :)
Muslimgauze - Serpent sting
This tune is from the album 09 'Alms for Iraq' (2003) - YT video for it has as much likes as eight! (!) Lets raise awareness about this brilliant album.
Muslimgauze - Girl who sleeps with Persian tulips
A beautiful melody with a distinct Arabic flavor that captures you and pushes into the whirling dervish dance - but suddenly turns out it is destroyed, scratched and interrupted by industrial inserts, modernized, upgraded, intertwined with modern realities and current perception of life. In this track - as in a water drop - all Muslimgauze mastermind can be seen. Its a perfect track for the first acquaintance with this artist. The bonus and reward for all attentive followers who got here!
I hope you enjoyed today's music selection, and travelling around the globe without leaving the Hive. 😎 The post goes for Three Tune Tuesday challenge run by @ablaze.
