Today I put aside the 15 Gb folder full of Muslimgauze tracks, and gonna introduce to you a wonderful Russian band playing the #ska genre. Worth your attention: Cabernet Deneuve! The name alone is worth a lot.

A bit of nostalgia for those who still remember program "Vremya" from the Soviet TV. It was accompanied by the piece "Time go forward!" by soviet composer Georgy Sviridov (I had a vinyl record with his recordings in my teen years). Today this melody has been modernized and breathed a new life into it. The bassist was on fire and almost burned to ashes during the performance. Pretty convincing - three and a half minutes of a powerful trip!
Немного ностальгии для тех, кто ещё помнит советскую теле-программу "Время". Ее сопровождал фрагмент из произведения композитора Георгия Свиридова "Время, вперёд!". (У меня в детстве была целая пластинка с его записями). Сегодня эту мелодию осовременили и вдохнули в нее новую жизнь. Надеюсь, вам понравится. Три с половиной минуты мощного трипа!

If you think this is a song about some panda who loves bamboo, then you are wrong :) Banana, bamboo, flute are all allegories, a piece of humor :) By the way, this is a Russian translation of a well-known song by Ska Cubano. A wonderful, classic ska standard!

The band has aged, some of its members have died, but the quality of their music did not degrade, no way - it became better! This unexpected comeback after many years of silence promises us a lot of new music, I believe.
