today i was cleaning up in and around the house. as there is no system for delivering garden debris anywhere what we don't compost we burn
while the brush fire was burning down to ashes i cleared out some trash from the storeroom
the biggest item was the cardboard box the refrigerator came in
when there were only warm ashes left of the brush fire i tossed on the big box
it quickly started smoking and soon was in flames
as the box burned and the flames died down some great patterns emerged in the corrugated cardboard ash
so i went and got my S22 and started taking shots
it was very hot so i was worried about the camera overheating and took the shots from a fair distance
even still the camera got quite warm but i hope it is not a problem
i backed away more and continued taking some shots
a gust of wind lifted some of the ash
and the scene was continually changing
within minutes the show was over
