Good and beautiful Sunday dear Friends and Photography Lovers๐๐ธ
The photos for this post were taken in July 2017, early in the morning, on the way to Slunj and Rastoke. Namely, I decided to visit Rastoke and capture its beauty over two days. However, on the way there, I decided to make Topusko a stopover.
And it's a good thing I did, a smart decision because I got to see a beautiful sunrise. So, let's go see
Topusko is a charming place in my beautiful Croatia in Sisak-Moslavina County, known for its healing springs, rich history and natural beauty. It is located about 70km south of Zagreb (the capital of Croatia) and 50 km from my Sisak in the valley of the Glina River. Topusko is known for the excellent quality of its thermal water: the springs (56โ72ยฐC) are mineral, slightly radioactive and are considered one of the best in Europe.
And what kind of sunrise is there, let's see together
Topusko welcomed me in its quietest and most magical version. The lake was shrouded in a light mist, as if hiding its secrets from the awakening of the day.
I stood on the pier, in complete silence, while nature awakened around me. The surface of the water was smooth as a mirror, and the only sound was the whisper of the wind and the occasional chirping of birds. Everything seemed unreal โ as if I had stepped into a painting.
Mornings like these are a reminder of how precious peace is and how nature can tell the most beautiful stories... if only we know how to listen to it. ๐
I took the photos with my first camera, a Nikon CoolPix L840. Since I was crazy about HDR processing at the time, that's how you see that processing. Honestly, I'm sorry I don't have the originals anymore. Now I would love to process them in a gentler and probably more beautiful way. But what's there is there, I'll have to go there again
